Today was such a lovely spring day. It was so great to see the Canadian Geese at the pond at my work today.

Someone I follow, @northy tried water droplet photography... I wanted to try it too since I hadn't tried it yet.
I used a card that Elisa made me with lots of colors and had the flash bounce off it to create the rainbow colors.
I would love any feedback since this is my first attempt at this.
The high school varsity girl's basketball team is headed to a State playoff today. It is the first time the girls basketball team has competited at State. My daughter Ambriel has played with and against most of the team that is going there when she was younger. A tradition at the school is to stuff styrofoam cups in the fence to cheer their teams on. This is what the fence said today when I drove by. Go Courtland!!!! Beat those Pioneers!!!
This mug is my favorite mug. I only use it one day every other week. When I use this mug it means it is a Friday, a payday, and all day I can refill it with any hot beverage of my choosing. The design celebrates the cafeteria celebrating it's anniversary.
One year for Christmas the kids all got these Santa Mugs filled with Hot Chocolate stuff in their stocking. Once they were done drinking the hot chocolate, we all got to use the mug. I like this mug because it is large and reminds me of Christmas all year round.
My daughter who is a sophmore in high school was tasked with writing a children's book. She is fascinated with mustaches and decided to write her book about them. Her teacher is going to choose the best ones and they will go to the local elementary school to read them. I really hope her book is chosen. How could I not take a photo of this? This photo today fits two themes, the one on 365project.com for mustaches, and our family theme of cups because the cup in the photo makes a milk mustache.
I have a great life. I have a husband who loves me, talented and amazing kids, a job I enjoy going to every day, friends who support me. I have been blessed so richly and I am grateful for all I have. My cup is very full.
Just about every morning starts with a vegan shake. I take a cup of soy or coconut milk, add in enough frozen fruit so the milk barely covers it, and a banana. This cup goes right on the blender and blends it up nice and smooth. then I put the lid on and drink it. I just got this cup a few weeks ago and it is my go to cup every morning.
About a year ago our church asked for everyone to donate coffee mugs to help the environment and discontinue using styrofoam mugs. Only a few weeks later the church asked for no more donations because they had too many mugs lol. Each Sunday now I look forward to seeing which mug I get, and what place it is from. More often than not, I end up with the mug someone donated which was from my place of employment. I applaud my church for making these changes to help all.
Today we spent at the Color Guard competition. My daughter competes and one of the things I love is that every color of the rainbow is there.
